As a celebration of World School Milk Day (did you know 65 million children have milk in schools each day) we decided to enjoy drinking our daily carton of Fonterra milk outside in the sun on the steps of the library. We put on our cow masks and gave thanks to all the cows in the Waikato who had made our daily milk drinking possible.
Welcome to our 2017 Class Blog. We are a class of year 5/6 students at Vardon School who look forward to sharing all our exciting learning and reflections with you. This is a great place for you to follow the many happenings in both our class and school. You can also check out our individual blogs for samples of our learning, artwork, and special moments captured in photos and on video. We love receiving feedback so be sure to leave comments for us.

The Big Slurp
Cow joke: A lady from the city and her traveling companion were riding the train through Waikato when she noticed some cows. "What a cute bunch of cows!" she remarked. "Not a bunch, herd", her friend replied. "Heard of what?" "Herd of cows." "Of course I've heard of cows." "No, a cow herd." "What do I care what a cow heard. I have no secrets to keep from a cow!"
