As part of our Culture topic Room 8 wrote down 5 things that make them and their family unique or special. We have used a voicethread to record just a small sample of the things we celebrate about ourselves and family.
Welcome to our 2017 Class Blog. We are a class of year 5/6 students at Vardon School who look forward to sharing all our exciting learning and reflections with you. This is a great place for you to follow the many happenings in both our class and school. You can also check out our individual blogs for samples of our learning, artwork, and special moments captured in photos and on video. We love receiving feedback so be sure to leave comments for us.
Hi Unique Room 8!
ReplyDeleteWow - what unique kids you all are. You have shared such a wide variety of things that make you special. We all do such different things, eat a wide variety of foods, speak different languages and celebrate so many different things!
What makes me unique is that I was born in South Africa. However, I am a 1st generation New Zealander. My children are 2nd generation on my side, and 7th generation on their dad's side!
We eat a mixture of New Zealand foods, as well as boerewors, and celebrate Christmas, Easter and birthdays like a lot of other New Zealand families.
