Tour Around Hamilton

On Wednesday the middle syndicate toured around Hamilton to discover why Hamilton is such a special place. First we went to the famous Hamilton Gardens. We saw lots of kinds of themed gardens like the  Modernist,  Chinese, Indian, Japanese, Tropical, Te Parapara, Kitchen, Herb and Tropical gardens. Each garden had something special to offer; like carvings, artwork, flowers, ponds, bridges, fountains and sculptures. Then we went to the Hamilton Lake to have a play on the playground and relax with a picnic lunch under the shade of a tree in this beautiful setting. Next the bus driver took us to the FMG Stadium and Mrs Hood talked all about the excitement of going to a stadium rugby match to support our team the CHIEFS. We did the Mexican wave to show our support of this sporting venue.  Then we walked briefly along the Pirana Park riverbank and admired our 1st Bridge before driving  past the Claudelands Arena. Lots of events like fairs and sporting events and shows are put on here. Now we are at school feeling tired and hot waiting for the bell to ring and to go Home Hamilton is a real cool place to live in.
