Welcome back everybody to term 4!
Our new big idea is Festivals and Celebrations.
I will be telling you some celebrations.... Birthdays, Chinese New Year, Christmas, Easter, Halloween, Weddings and thanksgiving.
The Chinese New Year a festival and celebration of the Chinese New Year. The lion dance means good luck to the people. Two people stand in the lion and dance once the people inside the lion get tired they quickly swop over.
I think the lion dances are very clever. You would have to be very fit and have lots of energy.
